Connecting your guild

What you need

• the connect code, issued together with the bot invite link;
• permission to manage your Discord server;
• five minutes.

Step 1. Invite the bot

Open the invite link you were sent. Discord will ask which server to add the bot to and show the list of permissions.

• Pick your server.
• Do not remove the permissions: without channel management the bot cannot create the call channels, and without mentions it cannot call people to gather.
• Confirm.

The bot will appear in the member list. It does nothing yet: the server is not connected.

Step 2. Enter the code

In any channel run the command:

• /подключить followed by the code you were given

The bot checks the code and immediately creates a category with six channels: call announcements, PvP, PvE, two archives and party search. Existing channels are left alone.

If the bot says it lacks permissions, grant it “Manage Channels” in the server settings and run /каналы.

Step 3. Sign in to the site

Open aguildtracker.su and click “Sign in with Discord”. There are no passwords, Discord confirms your identity.

The server owner lands in the dashboard right away and becomes the guild master. Everyone else gets access from them.

Step 4. Map the roles

Open “Settings”. There are five levels, and each needs roles from your server:

• Guild member — who appears in the roster. Everyone else on the server is ignored;
• Guild master — full access: settings and granting dashboard access;
• Deputy — the same rights as the guild master;
• Officer — sees the call archives;
• Raid leader — can post and run calls.

We create no roles of our own: you pick from the ones your server already has.

Under each level it says how many people the choice affects. Watch that number: a role may be held by more people than you think.

Step 5. Apply channel access

Go back to Discord and run /права.

The bot spreads channel access across the roles you picked: members see the calls and party search, leaders can post, officers get the archives. Everything else is closed.

Run this command every time you change the role mapping.

Step 6. Your first call

Go to the announcements channel and run /кол. A form opens: content type, title, requirements, gather and departure time, roster.

You can put a button in the channel with /панель so no command is needed.

People sign up with a button or a message in the thread. When you head out press “Heading out”, when finished press “Content finished”. Attendance shows up in the dashboard right away.

Useful commands

• /кол — post a call;
• /панель — put a create button in a channel;
• /права — apply channel access after changing roles;
• /каналы — create missing channels;
• /стата — attendance for the current week;
• /топ — top by attendance.

If something goes wrong

• The bot ignores commands — check it can see the channel and post there;
• Commands do not appear — Discord takes up to an hour to refresh them;
• Missing permissions — grant “Manage Channels” and run /каналы;
• A role was renamed — levels follow it on the next sync;
• A role was deleted — settings will show a warning, pick a replacement.
